Lausanne, Switzerland - As outcome of a meeting held near Torino, Italy on 15th April 2005, FITA and the International Biathlon Union (IBU) have prepared a joint agreement defining the future of ski archery (former archery biathlon) under the authority of FITA. This agreement was then officially ratified by the two International Federations Presidents Jim Easton and Anders Besserberg on 20th April in Berlin, Germany.
