BBC, NBC and Terra to Reveal How the Olympics Has Changed Sport Forever
BBC Future Media Board member and General Manager for News and Knowledge, Phil Fearnley, will be joined by Richard Cordella, General Manager of NBC Sports and Olympics Digital, and Sandra Pecis, Terra’s VP of Media on an exclusive “digital Olympics” panel at the annual gathering of digital pioneers in sport on 10th and 11th October 2012 at Chelsea FC, London.

The broadcast executives will provide real insight into viewing trends across devices in key European, North and Latin American audiences during the Olympics, during which up to 2,500 hours of action will be live-streamed to tablet, mobile, connected TV and desktop screens. It will be the first time that three broadcasters have provided this cutting-edge information about how London 2012 and their innovations have changed the way sport is consumed, laying the foundations for all digital activity for years to come.

They will be speaking at Leaders in Digital Sport which is the world’s premiere, invite-only conference for 300 digital executives in sport. It takes place within the world renowned Leaders Sport Summit which hosts 5 leading edge conferences for senior level directors from over 45 sports and 55 countries.
