Sportzworkz to Produce Yonex-Sunrise India Open Badminton, 2012

Sportzworkz, a well respected production house, will produce the live telecast of the Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2012, Badminton tournament, which is a part of the OSIM BWF World Superseries. The event takes place in Delhi’s Siri Fort Sports Complex from April 24 till April 29 and features the top players in the world including World No. 5 Saina Nehwal.

The USD 200,000 prize money tournament will be telecast LIVE from the quarter-finals onwards on the new sports & entertainment channel SONY SIX along with DD Sports.

Mr. TPS Puri, Vice-President, Administration, Badminton Association of India said, “We are very happy to be associated with Sportzworkz which has in the past covered the TATA Open badminton in 2009 & 2010.”
