Sportradar adds integrity services to EHF partnership
Sportradar, the international sports data and digital content firm, will provide betting integrity services to the European Handball Federation after agreeing to expand its present deal with the sport’s continental governing body.
Under the latest multi-year deal, Sportradar's fraud detection services are to be implemented across a range of EHF competitions, including the EHF Champions League, Women’s EHF Champions League, and EHF Euro events.
Sportradar has already provided tools for the monitoring of last month’s Men’s EHF Euro in Croatia.
The company also held a seminar for delegates and referees at the event.
Sportradar adds integrity services to the wide-ranging data and content agreement that it signed with EHF Marketing, the marketing arm of the EHF, in June last year.
That long-term partnership comprises data, streaming, marketing and digital services for the men’s and women’s EHF Champions League, EHF Cup and EHF Challenge Cup.
Sportradar OTT forms part of the tie-up with the company responsible for the installation and development of the EHF’s own OTT platform ehfTV.com and marketing rights for all digital content relating to the club competitions.
The deal also involves Sportradar handling advertising and sponsorship on digital platforms and non-digital advertising and sponsorship from the betting industry.
In addition, the firm is working with the EHF and EHF Marketing media teams to create and develop new digital content for the ehfTV.com and social media channels.
