Record broadcasting footprint for EuroLeague Final Four

The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, the climax to the season in European basketball’s top clubs competition, has a record broadcasting reach this year.
Organiser Euroleague Basketball announced today that the event in Istanbul is being shown in 214 countries and territories around the world.
The showpiece was set to tip off at the Sinan Erdem Dome this evening with CSKA Moscow of Russia playing Greece’s Olympiacos Piraeus and local team Fenerbahce taking on Spanish giants Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
The third-place match and final are scheduled for Sunday.
The rights-holding broadcasters in the countries of the participating teams are Match TV in Russia, Nova and ERT in Greece, BeIN Sports and TRT Sports in Turkey and Movistar Plus and TVC (Catalunya) in Spain.
Elsewhere, the major networks covering the Final Four include Deutsche Telekom in Germany, Fox Sports in Italy, BeIN in France, Sky in the UK, Sport Klub in nine countries in the Balkan region, Viasat in seven countries in Scandinavia and the Baltic region, The Sports Channel in Israel, BeIN in 23 countries in the Middle East, Fox Sports in 50 countries in Africa, LeTV and CCTV in China, Eurosport in 44 countries in Asia and the Pacific region, NBA TV in USA and Sky in 51 countries in Central and South America.
Selected broadcasters are also showing the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament featuring the best under-18 teams, the EuroLeague Awards Ceremony, events at the FanZone and press conferences.
In addition, there is full coverage of the Final Four on the online service EuroLeague.TV and on selected cruise ship and airline services.
