Suzuki to Sponsor 40th FIL World Championship
The event, which takes place from 24th -27th January with the competitions starting on 25th January, is the supreme event in the Winter Olympic sport of luge. Suzuki completes the line-up of four Official Main Sponsors - adidas (sports apparel), Helaba (banking) and the Region of Thüringen (the regional authority) – exclusively in the automotive category.
Suzuki’s package for the event includes Suzuki branding on bibs, backdrops, inflatable structures and event flags and a significant inventory of perimeter advertising in positions in camera view along the length of the luge track. The brand will also have print advertising in official publications.
Suzuki is implementing a series of activities on site, including a VIP Shuttle service and a much welcome inflatable Suzuki Igloo for fans as a warm-up area.
The Japan-based manufacturer of cars, motorcycles and boat engines is already the main- and title sponsor of the Suzuki Challenge Cup and of the Suzuki Team Relay and supports the luge World Cup series as one of three main sponsors. Within the scope of its commitment as an important partner of the FIL the company intends to place its attractive, individual and reliable vehicles in a sporty environment.
