St Andrews Links Joins Forces with Sega
The agreement with Sega, brokered by Copyright Promotions Sport on behalf of St Andrews Links, will add to the successful arcade game version which was originally released in 2004.
Game players will be able to play the Old Course, the Home of Golf, in a number of modes: a conventional round, three-hole matches, putting competitions or specifically designed golfing challenges.
Commenting on the agreement, Sean McAuliffe, Senior Commercial Manager at Copyright Promotions Sport states, “We are delighted to announce the agreement with Sega, which will see the historic Old Course at St Andrews being made available on next generation home consoles.”
Danny Campbell, Licensing Director at St Andrews Links comments, “The partnership with Sega is one of a number of key alliances that we are developing and reflects the co-ordinated communications programme we are implementing with Copyright Promotions Sport.”
