CCA Unveils Website Redesign For Enhanced Interface And Improved Navigation
The new website (http://www.curling.ca/) provides visitors with many new features and updated information which will satisfy the needs of curlers, curling enthusiasts and club operators. The website is divided into "channels" which include "Learn to Curl", "Fan Central, "Business of Curling" and "About the CCA" to effectively provide visitors with the information they are looking for quickly.
Included in this redesign are new website redesigns for several of the CCA's championship event websites including the 2006 Tim Hortons Brier, 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts, 2006 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors and the 2006 Strauss Canada Cup of Curling.
According to Dave Parkes, the CCA's Chief Executive Officer, "The timing for this launch works very well for our organization. We are seeing a significant increase in our already extensive website traffic as a result of the Tim Hortons Curling Trials, the 2006 Olympic Winter Games and the remainder of our 2006 Season of Champions due to the enhanced profile provided by our new television agreement with CBC and TSN. We see the continued development of the CCA¹s online presence as a vital part of our organization¹s communication initiatives."
The CCA website can be accessed by visiting http://www.curling.ca/.
