Broadcasting and Photography at 2006 IPC Swimming World Championships
Media representatives from all over the world will cover the event. Representatives from genuine recognized media organizations, which still want to apply for accreditation in order to report from the World Championships, should contact the Local Organizing Committee at mailto:email@example.com, visit the official website at http://www.dissa.co.za/ or fill in and send the attached accreditation form to firstname.lastname@example.org by 16 November. Please note that a very limited number of accreditations are available.
SABC Sport has been appointed Host Broadcaster and is responsible for the production of high quality television coverage of the competition. Broadcasters interested in receiving footage or having onsite presence at the World Championships should contact email@example.com and send the attached accreditation form to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org by 16 November (a very limited number of accreditations is available). A daily 52-minute highlight package will be uploaded via satellite and can be downloaded by any broadcaster interested in purchasing the package. A 52-minute package will also be produced at the end of the Championships.
The IPC's Internet TV channel, ParalympicSport.TV, will also broadcast the daily highlights. ParalympicSport.TV is a top quality 24/7 television channel broadcasting via the Internet. Free of charge, people all over the world are able to watch live and delayed programming, or see the coverage on demand later.
